Rick Wardrip, CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, MBA
Rick Wardrip, CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, MBA, serves as SunHawk’s Power and Water Practice Leader with extensive experience minimizing enterprise-wide risk. Most recently he served 20+ years as Chief Audit Executive of one of the nation’s largest Public Power and Water Utility Companys, with over $13 billion dollars in assets and over 5,000 employees. His investigative experience includes whistleblower cases, conflicts of interest, fraud, contract disputes/overbillings, human resource and more... Mr. Wardrip has extensive involvement in organizational change management in evaluating and the implementation of such changes including cyber security risk assessment. Further, he has led efforts to negotiate settlements among utilities in relation to power plants and other related issues in the utility industry.
He has an undergraduate degree from Black Hills State University in South Dakota and an MBA from Northern Arizona University. Certifications include a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) and a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor). He has been a speaker at conferences related to topics/experience noted above.
